I'm Emperor Velo XXVII, ruler of this galaxy!
Velo's Galactic Empire is an empire ruled by Emperor Velo XXVII, encompassing numerous different planets, which themselves are home to many different sentient species.
History
Crash Nitro Kart
The various holdings of Velo's Galactic Empire appear throughout the game, with Team Bandicoot and Team Cortex beginning at Velo's Citadel before teleporting to different planets that fall under the empire's jurisdiction. Each planet also has a champion that directly answers to Emperor Velo.
Upon beating Velo in a race after collecting all the Time Relics, the emperor will either give up or retain leadership of his empire depending on the winning team. Team Bandicoot will let Velo keep his position as ruler if he agrees to send them home. Team Cortex however will take the role for themselves in order to enslave Earth. But are sent to be worshipped on Terra instead.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled
All of the tracks from Crash Nitro Kart, which take place on each of the four planets in Velo's empire, including Hyper Spaceway within Velo's Citadel, return in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, but without the anti-gravity mechanic. A track situated on Gasmoxia, Drive-Thru Danger, was added as part of the Gasmoxia Grand Prix.
