    A short while ago, there was a rumor going around that Sony brought back the rights to Crash Bandicoot. This has been proven false:

    Amidst all the rumors over whether Activision still owns Crash or not, I found an interesting article:

    According to the article above, Knack, one of the launch titles for the PS4, is aimed at "nostalgic, now grown-up Crash Bandicoot fans and the rest of their family." This was said by Mark Cerny, the creative director of Knack. Of note, Mark Cerny was also involved in Crash 1 - 3, Bash, Spyro 1 - 3, Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, Ratchet and Clank 1 - 3, and Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. His work ranged from producer/executive producer, designer/design consultant, and programmer.
