Tie Breaker is the only secret level of Crash Bash. It can be accessed by completing the game in multiplayer mode in which the two-player team is formed by a good and an evil character. (For example: Crash and Cortex)
This level is a variant of Crate Crush with only two players. The objective is to throw crates at the opponent and having them defeated within the time limit of 1 minute and 30 seconds. The first player to win three times wins the game and determines the ending. (For example: If Crash defeats Cortex, the player gets the good ending, however if Cortex defeats Crash, the player gets the bad ending).
The stage appears to be a chessboard in outer space. There are stone blocks, TNT Crates and nitro crates to fight with and wumpa fruit can be collected to increase health.

- This is the only level in the entire game which does not contain any trophies, gems, crystals or relics.
