It's funny because Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped was the first Crash Bandicoot game that I was introduced to, and then Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and then Crash Bandicoot and because I didn't get a chance to see much of the latter, until later, I thought that the 3rd one was actually the 1st one and vice versa. I was very young at the time so it was easy for me to make those sorts of mistakes.

A few years later from 2001, (2005 I think) was when I fully discovered the actual order of the first three games.

    • Hahaha, that's a pretty interesting story! =P I'm not surprised that you played the games backwards though; I know people who did the same, or at least played Crash 2 and 3 before 1 (probably because Crash 2 was more widely available and popular on the market than Crash 1 after it was released, and then Crash 3). As for myself, believe it or not, I didn't actually play Crash 1-3 myself until last year (beforehand I had played CTR, CNK, Twinsanity and CTTR), so naturally I bought and played through the games in chronological order.

    • I played Spyro 3 first and then I think Spyro 2. I do recall playing Spyro 1 but I'm not sure I was really able to distinguish the difference between it and Spyro 3. It was like 11 years ago since I've played all three games, so I would have had trouble distinguishing / comparing them.

    • I played TWOC first, then Tag Team Racing, and THEN Crash 3, then Crash 2, then Twinsanity, and now I'm waiting for Crash of the Titans to arrive! I'm Backwards Gamer in every way...

Please don't necro-bump old threads that have been inactive for over a month. Thanks.
