Welcome to Bandipedia!

The Crate Escape is the third and final story level of The Sn@xx Dimension and the thirtieth main level of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. This is the second story level where Doctor Neo Cortex is playable. The first part of the level is played as Cortex, and the second part is played as either Crash or Coco.

The level starts with Cortex being the last one to reach the others. After Cortex reaches Crash, Coco, Dingodile and Tawna, he realizes that with Kupuna-Wa's ability to control time, there is another way to end his eternal feud with the bandicoots. Cortex then captures Kupuna-Wa using his ray gun and runs for his airship. With some assistance from Tawna and Dingodile, Crash and Coco give chase.

In the second part of the level, Crash/Coco make their way to the airship, using various platforms and crates falling out of its cargo bay. After Crash and Coco reach Cortex, he uses Kupuna-Wa to open a quantum rift to go back in time to 1996, in order to undo his greatest failure. The wind pushes Crash and Coco off the airship roof and they grab onto the edge of the airship door, with the airship itself entering the dimensional rift to Cortex Island, 1996.
