The Spyro N. Friends Grand Prix was the third Grand Prix in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. It lasted from August 30th, to September 29th, 2019.

Theme

The Spyro N. Friends Grand Prix was mainly themed around the Spyro the Dragon series. It introduced the titular character Spyro along with his friend Hunter and his first enemy Gnasty Gnorc. The new track, Spyro Circuit, reused elements from four levels of the Reignited version of Spyro the Dragon. The new character skins were inspired by fantasy creatures and fairy tales, with the exception of Evil Crunch and Evil Coco from Crash: Mind Over Mutant.

Bugs & Glitches

Due to a bug in the early Spooky Grand Prix update, the Nitro Fill was deactivated prior to the end of the Spyro N. Friends post-days. In consequence, the developers added all items from this Grand Prix's Nitro Gauge to the Pit Stop for the duration of the next Grand Prix. Similarly, the Spyro & Friends decal for the Champion kart was unavailable until the game update on October 10.

Trivia

• This Grand Prix was originally stylized as "Spyro & Friends" in its trailer and content chart. It was however renamed as "Spyro N. Friends" in the game's menus.
• All exclusive items from the Spyro N. Friends Grand Prix with the exception of the Champion Decal were permanently added back in the Pit Stop at the beginning of the Winter Festival Grand Prix.
• The Spyro N. Friends Grand Prix is the only Grand Prix where none of the newly-introduced characters got a Legendary skin.
