The Space Head is Cortex's most recent lair, appearing in Crash: Mind Over Mutant. It served as Cortex's base of operations in the game. It is a space station, orbiting the Earth and is shaped like Cortex's head with four huge, metal hands.
Inside is a landing area, hallway, barrel loading zone, weapons testing area, engine room, and control room which is where Crash must fight a mutated Cortex at the end of the game. Its current resting place is a smoldering rubble at the bottom of the waterfall near the bandicoots' house and the Doominator.
