Shock Waves are special items in Crash Bash. They are found in the Mallet Mash and Keg Kaboom minigames. In Mallet Mash, they are one of the items that can be found in purple ? crates, the other being speedy boots. They allow the player to smash more powerfully during the brief time the player has it. In Keg Kaboom, they appear in the arena and not in crates, and allow the player to ignite powder kegs from a distance. The icon used is the same as that of the sonic ring.
