Crash Bandicoot Mind over Mutant Rhinoroller

An unjacked Rhinoroller in Crash: Mind Over Mutant.

"This armor plated beast rolls itself into a ball that knock down enemies."

The Rhinoroller is a Titan that is a mix of a rhino, an armadillo and a lion and can curl up into a ball and can roll with Crash walking on top of it. The Rhinoroller appears in Crash of the Titans and Crash: Mind Over Mutant. In Crash: Mind Over Mutant, when it is jacked, it goes into its ball form and cannot attack with its horn until unjacked, unlike COTT when it walks and attacks with its horn even when jacked. It can take down a Scorporilla if it has enough speed. In a level in Crash: Mind Over Mutant, a group of Rhinorollers that are free from Cortex's control can be found in a cave in the Wasteland. In Crash: Mind Over Mutant, Crash can ride Rhinorollers down rails. A Rhinoroller kid will give Crash a minigame when talked to after beating Cortex.

Rhinoroller is a huge quadrupedal titan. Rhinoroller's body are covered in hard plates and spikes on its back. Rhinoroller also has huge claws, but they rely on rolling to attack. Rhinoroller has two horns on its face and often are used to destroy its prey. It also has huge jaws with gigantic canines extending from its mouth and a spiky beard to look more intimidating. Rhinoroller is very dangerous with its intimidating face and huge size completed with brutal nature, a single eye contact could enrage a Rhinoroller and run its victim flat until its prey is defeated (implying its persistence and aggressiveness). Rhinoroller also has tremendous power, it could destroy a huge titan in short time, it is very slow when not rolling though. It's a mix between a Rhinoceros, an Armadillo, and a Lion, given the appearance. In Mind Over Mutant, Rhinorollers live on Wumpa Island on the desert outskirts. Their appearance is much of less the same, but their facial appearance is more similar to that from the Smilodon's D.N.A. It also known that males possess armor and long canines while the females are generally defenseless. A Rhinoroller cub doesn't have any armor or much less horns and large canines like the males do.

  • The special attack is a longer and stronger version of the heavy attack.
  • They may be knocked into the air when hitting or hit by some of titans in Crash of The Titans. If the Rhinoroller is an enemy one, it will take additional damage upon landing after being hit, generally stunning it.
  • The Rhinoroller's original name was Roller.
