The course begins in a cave where some tikis are in the background. Down the hill, a pond where two [[Turtle|turtles]] act as springboards is driven into.The racers can jump of them for speed boosts. The track splits into two when the racers get to the lavafall area. Giant fireballs jump in and out of the lava, and may even hit racers. At this point, several racers fill fall into one of the chasms, and by the time [[Aku-Aku]]/[[Uka-Uka]] recover the unlucky racer/s and return them to the track they wil be far behind the others. After this, the course goes through a long cave with two turtle ponds at the front. Then, you go into a doorway where another turtle pond is located. Then the course comes to a stop. It is unknown who this track belongs to and that is why[[Video:Crash_Team_Racing_Playthrough_Part_3_Mystery_Caves_(Trophy_Race)|300px|right]] they call it "Mystery Caves". However, since each racer already has a home track, it could be assumed that this is where Aku Aku dwells.
