Mad Bombers (げきついおう オレンジバロン lit. Shootdown King Orange Baron in Japanese) is the twenty-fourth level overall and the fourth level of the fifth warp room in Crash Bandicoot: Warped and its remake in the N. Sane Trilogy. This level's name is a reference to George Peter Metesky, who was known as the "Mad Bomber" in New York City as he would plant explosives in theaters, offices and libraries across the city.
Overview
The level is based over snow-covered hills and mountains, under a dark grey sky during World War I. Crash takes to the skies in his biplane, the Orange Baron. His objective is to obtain the crystal by shooting down Cortex's five, red, double-winged airplanes, whilst shooting down his minions in smaller red planes, as well as white balloons with red-crosses, which restores health and holds crates, and yellow balloons also holding crates.
In a later update applied to the N. Sane Trilogy, this level is no longer exclusive to Crash. Coco can instead partipate in this level using her biplane instead.

- Aku Aku is banned from this level. If you enter this level with an Aku Aku mask, it will be removed.
- Mad Bombers, as well as Bye Bye Blimps and Rings of Power, don't feature a floating box counter at the end of the level, as there is no exit to the level. When Crash or Coco break all the boxes, the gem is instantly awarded to them.
