Trivia
- This level is similar to Rings of Power from Crash Bandicoot: Warped, except there are 40 rings to fly through instead of 30.
- Its name is a reference to Alistair MacLean's novel Ice Station Zebra.
- In the prototype version of the game, this level used to be an on-foot level with the large polar bear roaming it, supposedly as an enemy. Its structure is noticeably different from the game's conventional levels, being wide open with multiple routes. The original pathway remains in the final level as a background below, and is still playable via hacking, though the area is empty.
- The polar bear rides a flying carpet, like the ones in the famous Disney film Aladdin.
