Hot Rod Lab Assistants[1] are variants of lab assistants that appear in Crash Bandicoot: Warped and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
Hot Rod Lab Assistants race against Crash in the Motorcycle levels. Crash must pass all of them and cross the finish line first to earn that level's Crystal. The Hot Rod Lab Assistants may bump into Crash to attempt to slow him down, but will not directly harm him.
Hot Rod Lab Assistants can also be found in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, where a section of the level Orange Asphalt can be found out of bounds in Dingo Canyon with Hot Rod Lab Assistants driving on it.
