Hippos appear in Hang Eight, Air Crash, and Plant Food, where they act as platforms. Once Crash lands on them, the hippos will sink into the water for a few moments.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy[]
Hippos appear in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, in the remake of the second game, where they reprise their role from the original version. Unlike previously, they are light brown with darker spots, and black eyes with yellow pupils.
