The Rustland Grand Prix is the seventh and penultimate overall Grand Prix in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. It lasted from January 16th to February 16th, 2020.

Theme

The Rustland Grand Prix was themed around post-apocalyptic desert lands. It introduced Megamix from Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure along with Legendary skins inspired by films and games involving a post-apocalyptic setting, like Mad Max and Rage 2. The new track, Megamix Mania, is a post-apocalyptic future version of Roo's Tubes dried up and featuring the wreck of N. Gin's Battleship from Crash Twinsanity.

Permanent Content

The Country Flag stickers from the Nitro Tour Grand Prix were added back to the customization menu, and are all unlocked by default regardless of the previous Pit Stop purchases during that Grand Prix.

• Comically, Chick and Stew, did not return to host CTR TV after taking part as drivers in the Winter Festival. The channel's narrator is left to comment the Rustland Grand Prix while they tear the tracks (and are blasted off by Megamix) together during the introduction.
• Only the 8 main Crash Team Racing characters received a purchasable Legendary skin during this season.
• The trophy model held by Crash in the game's introduction menu was changed with Update 1.18 to the Game Awards' to reference Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled winning Best Sports/Racing Game at The Game Awards in 2019. This update occurred on January 24th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and January 31st for Nintendo Switch.
