The Flame Thrower Lab Assistant is an enemy from Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage, and the N. Sane Trilogy remake of the third game.
They are a Lab Assistant armed with a flamethrower, which appears in the Egyptian-themed levels Tomb Time and Sphynxinator in Warped and its N. Sane Trilogy remaster, and in Fire Mountains in Ripto's Rampage. They attack by shooting fire out from their flamethrowers.
