Skins are unlockable items in Crash: Mind Over Mutant. There are many skins that can be unlocked by fulfilling specific criteria. The player can change the skin by going to the treasure chest in the Bandicoots' house

Unlike the previous game, Crash of the Titans, skins do not confer any extra benefits when worn and are purely cosmetic.

Cheat Codes[]

These skins are worn by pausing the game and holding the "block" button while a cheat code is entered. The code must be entered quickly. A cheat code skin is applied to both players, regardless of which one entered the code, and can be toggled off by reentering the code or causing the screen to reload.

'Bigger' Skins[]

"Big Head" skin.

Input: Left-Left-Left-Down many times to toggle through skins where various body parts of the player character are made bigger. They are, in order: Big Head, Big Nose, Big Ears, Big Upper Body, Big Hands, and Big Shoes.

Shadow Skin[]

Input: Left-Right-Left-Right.

Trivia[]

  • In the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable versions of the game the only Coco Bandicoot skin is Carbon Crash, meaning you can not play as Coco. This is due to hardware limitations, as Crash and Coco with multiple enemies on screen, each with their own individual animations would have been too much for the PlayStation 2 and PSP to handle.
