Skins are unlockable items in Crash: Mind Over Mutant. There are many skins that can be unlocked by fulfilling specific criteria. The player can change the skin by going to the treasure chest in the Bandicoots' house.
Unlike the previous game, Crash of the Titans, skins do not confer any extra benefits when worn and are purely cosmetic.

Trivia[]
- In the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable versions of the game the only Coco Bandicoot skin is Carbon Crash, meaning you can not play as Coco. This is due to hardware limitations, as Crash and Coco with multiple enemies on screen, each with their own individual animations would have been too much for the PlayStation 2 and PSP to handle.
