The cockroach is an enemy in Crash Twinsanity that appears in the Academy of Evil levels, appearing alongside scarabs. A separate variety of roaches known as the electro-roach appears in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.

Crash Twinsanity[]
Cockroaches are only found underneath the school, in the level Boiler Room Doom. They are smaller than scarabs and behave identically to rats in Twinsanity, aimlessly wandering around on platforms. The can be easily defeated by spinning or sliding, or by getting Cortex to shoot them.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time[]
Electro-roaches are large brown insects with electric powers. They may either stand still or walk in a repeating pattern. Every so often, they will scream and electrify a small area around them for a few seconds. They can be defeated with any attack while their electrical powers are inactive, and are invincible when they are active. They are seen in the levels Nitro Processing and Toxic Tunnels.
