Eels are enemies in the Crash Bandicoot series, commonly found in underwater and sewer-themed levels.

Overview[]

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back[]

Eels exist in the levels The Eel Deal, Sewer or Later and Hangin' Out. They electrify the water so that it damages Crash when touched. Most activate approximately every four seconds; however, the ones in the yellow gem path do so constantly. Eels cannot be killed; Crash can only avoid their electrical discharges.

Crash Bandicoot: Warped[]

Moray eels hide in tunnels in the levels Under Pressure and Deep Trouble, occasionally popping out to snap at anything in their way. They can be defeated by spinning.

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex[]

Eels dart back and forth in the underwater levels Sea Shell Shenanigans, H2 Oh No and Coral Canyon. Though they emit electric particles, they are always safe to attack by spinning.

Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure[]

Two types of eels, moray and electric eels, appear in The Huge Adventure. Moray eels appear in all underwater levels, including Shipwrecked, Shark Attack, Sunken City and Air Supply. They behave exactly as they did in Warped. Electric eels appear only in Air Supply. They occasionally become electrified, making them invulnerable to attack, but can otherwise be spun.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy[]

Both eels reprise their respective roles in the N. Sane Trilogy.
