In-game description
Backpacks are equippable cosmetic items in Crash Team Rumble. Backpacks are not character-specific, and can be worn by all characters except for Catbat, Spyro, N. Tropy or N. Gin. There are a total of 96 backpacks in the game.

- The name of the Spaced Out backpack is a reference to the level of the same name from Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, or possibly the identically named level from Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced.
