Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is an upcoming main-series title in the Crash Bandicoot series.
The game was first properly teased on the 18th of June 2020, where several videogame news reporters were sent jigsaw puzzles that revealed a new, mysterious mask character[1].
The next day, the 19th of June, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee filed a rating for the game, revealing its title, placeholder box art and a short plot synopsis. Said box art also revealed the game's developer, Toys For Bob, as well as the the game being slated for release on the PS4 and Xbox One. Four new masks can be seen on the artwork.
As of now, only one in-game screenshot and no gameplay footage have been revealed. With information about the game that would be revealed on June 22nd, 2020 by Toys For Bob.
Story
Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.

- The title is both a reference to the time taken since Mind Over Mutant, the last original Crash game, was released, and to the general narrative of the game.
- It will be the second game to be known as Crash 4, after Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex's Japanese release.
