Coco Bandicoot is fought as a boss in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced and Crash: Mind Over Mutant. In both cases, she is brainwashed.

Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced[]

Evil Coco is the second boss of the game, forced to fight Crash by N. Trance's hypnosis. The fight takes place inside a volcano where Coco operates a purple hovercraft while Crash operates a Copter-Pak. Her attack pattern is to shoot missiles down at Crash while moving in a straight line, then to fire cyan laser that Crash must avoid. After she completes her attack pattern her force field will go down leaving her vulnerable, allowing Crash to attack. Repeat this two more times to win the fight and snap Coco out of her brainwashing.

Crash: Mind Over Mutant[]

Coco is the first boss, and is fought on the back of the Doominator wreckage, appearing there once Crash finds N. Gin at his observatory. She will be under the control of the NV and she will be piloting a machine shooting flaming basketballs. Crash must use the Ratcicle in this boss fight. Coco will fire normal basketballs at Crash which using Ratcicle Crash must hit back. This will make her launch flaming basketballs which Crash should again hit back. Coco will then jump into a pool of water. The player must use Ratcicle's freeze sneeze on the water to freeze Coco. Once frozen she can be attacked to deplete her health bar. The player must repeat this until Coco is defeated.

Defeating Coco completes both Story Mission 03: Save Coco and Crunch, and Optional Mission 35: Girl Power, and enables the loading zones for the Ratcicle Kingdom and Wasteland hub areas. In the Xbox 360 and Wii versions, she also becomes the Player 2 character from this point onward.
