A Cannon in
Cannons are a type of cannonball-shooting weapon that has been used several times as background, weapons, and a mechanic.
Cannons are aboard pirate ships in Coco's
jet ski levels where they use it as their main source of attack against Coco by shooting cannonballs at her.
Cannons can be seen in the corners of walls as background in
Cannons have a minor role in the game as a usable mechanic for
Crash. They are used to shoot explosives to destroy spiked tikis to get gems. They shoot when Crash hops on the red button on the back of it. It can shoot the bombs in low distance by hopping on the button and long distance by Belly Flopping it.
Several cannons are found in
Mystery Island, where two are found and play supporting roles in the Die-O-Ramas Poultry's Revenge and Holey Crash, in which both of them destroy Crash. One of these cannons activates the shortcut for Deep Sea Driving.
Cannons reappear in the
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy remaster of the third game, reprising the same role they had in the original version of the game.
