Calamity Canyon

A perilous rocky mountain top situated on the outskirts of Klang City.

In-game description

Calamity Canyon is a map in Crash Team Rumble, based on the level A Real Grind from Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. It was one of three maps available in the game's closed beta period. The map was heavily modified as a mini-game called "Bounce Balloons" in Party Mode on October 12, 2023 for season 2.

The music that plays in Calamity Canyon is Hit the Road's theme from It's About Time.

Relic Stations[]

Oxide's UFO[]

"Chases and de-materializes all enemies."

Summons Nitros Oxide in his hovercraft. When a team activates it, Oxide flies around following a random member of the opposite team whilst firing a laser beam at the ground. If another enemy gets too close, Oxide may change his mind and start following them instead. This pad can be activated for 30 Relics. It is unavailable until 50 seconds into a match.

Force Field[]

"Blocks enemies from the Banks."

Creates a large force-field in front of one of the team's banks, blocking the other team from passing. The field also grants a short speed boost to any allies that pass through it. Either team can activate either field, meaning it can be used to defend your own bank or to block the other team from reaching theirs. Costs 8 Relics to activate. It is unavailable until 2 minutes and 30 seconds into a match.

Junker Ball[]

"Roll around with spikes."

Creates a spherical spiked cage around your character, as seen in the level Hit the Road in It's About Time. While active, the Junker Ball hurts any enemies you touch, breaks crates and damages enemy structures. Once the pad is activated, anyone on your team can use it. Can be activated for 5 Relics. It is always available.
