Orange baron

The Bi-plane is an aircraft that first appeared in Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

Overview[]

Crash Bandicoot: Warped[]

In Warped, Crash Bandicoot owns a blue bi-plane called the Orange Baron,[1] and Coco Bandicoot owns a different pink plane. They appear in three levels, Bye Bye Blimps, Mad Bombers and Rings of Power. Coco in her plane appears in Bye Bye Blimps, while Crash in the Orange Baron appears in the other two levels. The planes are equipped with machine guns which can be used to shoot down crates, enemy planes and other important targets.

Crash Anywhere[]

While the bi-planes themselves do not appear anywhere in Crash Anywhere, Crash is shown wearing his aviator outfit in the Dancing Anywhere level, Dance 5, which is unlocked by completing Bye Bye Blimps in a linked Warped save file.

Crash Boom Bang![]

In Crash Boom Bang!, planes are used by player characters in the minigames Crash Shooting and Flying Battle. Its color is determined by the player using it; player 1's plane is red, player 2's is blue, player 3's is green and player 4's is yellow. The plane is controlled by tapping on its wings to turn and tapping on its body to fire the machine guns.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy[]

The bi-planes reappeared in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy remake of Warped, now with the ability to choose to play as either character in any of the bi-plane levels.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled[]

In Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the Firehawk kart was introduced during the Spooky Grand Prix, which is modeled after a military plane. Later, during the Post-Grand Prix update, the similar Neon Hawk kart was also added. These planes drive the same as any other hover kart.

Additionally, Crash can be equipped with his aviator outfit as an unlockable skin, which was available from launch.
