Cocktailthrower

Arsonists peering out the windows, before and after throwing their cocktails at the ground below.

Arsonists are enemies encountered in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. They are found only in the night Arabian themed levels High Time and Flaming Passion. These enemies peer out from the balcony of their windows, throwing Molotov cocktails at Crash or Coco.

It is possible to avoid the attack since they only toss the cocktails in front of Crash or Coco, leaves burning soot stains where the flames were. They are also encountered in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, and the N. Sane Trilogy remaster of the third game.

Appearance

In the original game, they resemble a woman in a purple suit, with eyes of the same color. They also have a yellow belt. In N. Tranced, they are Lab Assistant, that resemble the blade-throwing variant. In the remake, they also are a Lab Assistant, but look more like the original variants with a Ninja suit.

Behavior

Arsonists are similar the Beaker-Throwing Lab Assistants in behavior, throwing a projectile at Crash or Coco. However, unlike the aforementioned assistants, the projectile lands onto a scorch mark and creates a small wall of fire that can be jumped over if Crash or Coco is careful or if they have the Double Jump power up.

They can be disposed of easily by the use of the Fruit Bazooka. They can also be spun, although that is a risky tactic to use on most of them, due to the chasm between them and the path. In N-Tranced, Crash can also defeat them by jumping on them.
